Colonial revival architecture is one of seven sub-styles under the larger umbrella category of colonial architecture. Colonial revival houses are the result of a rebirth of interest in 17th to early 19th century houses along the Eastern Seaboard. These homes were built with varying degrees of Dutch and English architectural influence during the American colonial era.
