This article walks through the interior of the first home we ever built: Chateau Bordeaux. We constructed the French country home for the 2000 BIA Parade of homes, and ultimately won more awards than any other builder that year.
The home features a magnificent two-story grand foyer. Overall, it is an example of how a classic style like French country can pleasantly co-exist with more contemporary features like IBM and Greyfox wiring for home automation.
French doors, a pass-through fireplace, and a - 130-bottle sub-zero wine cellar refrigerator help round out what was the first in what would ultimately prove to be a long and ever-growing line of Cua-built French country homes.
